Hi! My name is Sydney Starnes. I am a rising senior at Virginia Tech. I have been swimming since I was 5 years old and swam at Swim Atlanta for all of my years before college. I swim distance freestyle and IM here at VT in the ACC Conference. I have coached multiple teams in the past and enjoy showing kids what I do every day. I have a brother named Austin who is a rising sophomore at Ohio State and also coaches at Camden Place. I enjoy sports of all kinds including pickleball, soccer, and volleyball and love to travel to the Bahamas! I am looking forward to being the Head Coach for JAWS this summer and can’t wait to meet you all when I get there in May!!

My name is Eli Bateman and I am a rising junior at Walton High School. I play soccer with Roswell Santos and played on the Walton Men’s JV team this spring. I have been swimming with JAWS for the past six years and am excited to return as a junior coach for my third year. Hi, my name is Rylie Reid, and I am so excited to be a JAWS Junior Coach this summer! I am a rising sophomore at Walton High School, and I absolutely love swimming. This summer will mark my 8th year swimming with JAWS. I also swim year-round with SwimAtlanta and I swam for both the Walton High School Varsity Swim and the Walton Junior Raiders. I discovered my passion for swim and learned how to swim all the different strokes while on the JAWS swim team. My name is Elijah Sanders and I go to Walton High School. I grew up in Georgia and I have been swimming on the Jaws swim team since 2021 and this will be my first year as a junior coach. I am excited and prepared to guide young swimmers and will enjoy this season. I enjoy participating in outdoor activities, and I also play soccer.
